The CompTIA A+ certification is an entry level qualification for people who will be installing and configuring computers and some basic networking (there is a Networking+ course which is a vendor neutral entry level Networking course)
The A+ certification is recognised by major hardware and software vendors, distributors and resellers. CompTIA A+ confirms a technician’s ability to perform installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking. A+ is the perfect entry into an IT career.
It is common after the A+ to do the Networking plus exam or even the Security+ dependant on job requirements.
