In business when we hear that a service or a product is affordable we generally relate to it being cost effective but unfortunately that doesn’t apply to all services and products out there. Especially when this service can cause irreversible damages if done cheaply and incorrectly which is the case of SEO services. Before I dig any deeper into this subject I would like to make it clear that I’m not advocating that all affordable SEO services are not cost effective. There are many agencies offering SEO services that are effective and don’t cost you an arm and a leg.

So, when affordable SEO services are not cost effective?

A simple answer to that question would be, when these services do more harm then good to a website, like hurt its rankings which in turn will result in loss of traffic and consequently conversions.

But what happens when the website didn’t have any traffic in the first place and the optimisation failed to increase visits and conversions. Or even worst it made the website be classified as spammy because it used dark hat SEO techniques to try and push targeted keywords up in the rankings in a short period of time. Once a website is classified as spammy by the search engines and ultimately by its target audience it will be virtually impossible to reverse the situation.

Rule Number 1 for hiring an SEO company is to avoid those that promise to rank your website high for competitive terms within weeks. Search engine optimisation is a process that takes time to return substantial results, always remember that.

As afore mentioned black hat SEO techniques can cause serious damage to a website. For those that never heard about it before, these techniques try to game the search engines rankings algorithm in order to deliver faster results. Some of the most common black hat SEO procedures are:

Hidden Text
Keyword Stuffing
Cloaking
Paid links
Duplicate content on multiple domains
Link Farms
Hidden affiliate links
Different content for search engines than users

The list goes on and on. You might ask: How Am I supposed to know if the SEO company I hired is using SEO techniques from the dark side?

Like in real life ask for references or for a portfolio of projects the company has and is working with, if they show good results (high rankings) it means that the given SEO Company is working within the guidelines proposed by the search engines.

Don’t be afraid to email or phone some of the clients and ask yourself for information about the company. A good place to check a company’s reputation is on Google Places where users leave reviews about a given business.

Search Engine Optimisation is still the most cost effective online marketing method there is. Affordable SEO services can be cost effective just be careful with the agencies that promise magical results.

SEO specialised affordable SEO services also a blogger, link builder and social media enthusiast.

The retail trade is far more complex than what many people think. Customer behaviour, seasonal trends and the online threat are just a few issues retailers have to deal with. Another area that is extremely important and sometimes is not given the required attention by retailers is shop fittings and displays.

Just like analysing customer behaviour and trying to understand how prospects think are sciences that retailers spend thousands, maybe millions, of pounds each year to master them. The way products are displayed on a given shop is a science in its own way.

It is not just about organizing products in alphabetical order or by colour or even by brand. Products need to be displayed in a way that customers are enticed to buy them and that is when the science of shop fittings and displays come into play.

“We Shop with our eyes”

When it comes down to shop fixtures and display units in each case there is one rule that suits them all. Fittings and displays need to be gentle on the eye to draw customer’s attention without shading the product.

A common mistake made my shop owners is spending thousands of pounds in state-of-the-art fittings that instead of displaying their commodities in an appealing and inciting way it ends up drawing more attention than the product itself. Store fixtures and displays need to be chosen accordingly to theme and style of the shop.

In order to get this right you need to put yourself in the shoes of your customers and ask yourself the following questions. What would incite you to buy in a shop just like yours? How would you display products so customers can find them in the glance of an eye? What would incite you to walk into a shop like yours?

Sometimes to find the answers to these questions you will need to seek professional help from shop fitters or interior decorators.

Trained retail fitters not only realise how to put together shelving, displays, slatwalls, they also know the locations to put them in order to attract more attention.

Speaking of detail did you know the colour of your shop and fittings influences in your prospects decision?

It is not new that colours have their influence in people’s moods, actions and behaviour. Studies revealed that certain colours can influence costumers in their final decision. For instance an office space needs to use white an bright colours so workers don’t fell sleep and the other hand red and yellow are known to incite hunger, McDonald’s anyone?

So choose the colours of your fixtures and displays based on the theme of you shop and the products you are or will be selling. Not sure what colours will work best? Ask your shop decorator he or she will certainly be able to help you.

Finally but no least important is the your shop layout, again the best way to get this right is to sit down with your shop fitter or decorator to workout a layout that will pull costumers straight from the side-walk into your shop.

Shop Fittings and Displays are a complex science that must be mastered and well worth the money invested to get it right.

Recycling commences at the waste disposal level with segregation and containment of individual waste streams. Segregation, containment, transportation and processing of waste streams are parts of waste management services. Each part of the waste management and recycling process requires adequate equipments to optimise the whole process making it even more profitable.

Segregation should start at the source with the use of recycling containers like for instance recycling bins or if you prefer segregated bins. Recycling containers range from the ordinary office recycling bins to rigid containers for warehouse or even specially designed containers for the containment of hazardous and clinical waste streams. Such containers facilitate the movement of waste to external containers or waste handling equipments.

There are certain production processes that don’t allow the waste to be segregated on-site. It is the job of the waste management company to provide containers for the containment of mixed recyclables and arrange for the wastes to be segregated off-site.

With commercial and industrial waste management and recycling services it is impossible to have a one-size-fits-all scheme due to numerous reasons which could clearly be the subject of another article. The ideal waste management provider should provide a tailor made service that minimises cost, increase recycling, eliminate waste to landfill wherever possible and maximise costs.

Waste audits are an important part of the process as they examine the whole production process and identify areas where cost savings can be made by the implementation of eco-friendly initiatives that rationalises and increases recycling levels.

These audits are conducted with the purpose of understanding each business process such as:

Types of waste
Volume of waste
Procedures of waste segregation and handling (if any)
Utilisation of recycling containers (if any)
Utilisation of waste handling equipment (if any)
Current service levels and service scheduling
Volume of recycling
Overall current waste management costs

Based on these findings waste management companies can tailor their services accordingly to each organisation.

To make the whole process even more profitable organisations can handle their own waste on-site by using adequate equipment like Balers, Compactors, Shredders, roll-packers, drum or can crushers, etch. These equipments can process recyclable waste materials in a resalable format turning a cost into revenue.

Among the most used waste handling equipments are Balers, Compactors and Can crushers.

Balers are compactors that can produce bales of 25kg to 650kg in weight and are one of the most cost effective equipments an organisation could own. Because they can cater for a wide range of recyclable waste materials including cardboard and plastic.

Compactors are very similar to balers are they can compact waste streams from ratios of 4:1 to 10:1 dependent upon the compaction force and type of wastes being compacted.

Can crushers also know as drum crushers are designed to reduce metal waste to a fraction of their original size reducing costs with disposal.

To sum things up to verify the quality and standard of waste management and recycling procedures companies should have their processes and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditation and other quality management bodies.

Back in the days when British North Sea natural gas reserves were at full throttle Britain use to be self sufficient for natural gas. In those days only a couple of factors had major influence in UK gas prices, they were weather and demand, the golden days as many energy brokers referred it. Nowadays the UK gas and energy market has grown more complex with several factors influencing prices on a daily basis.

In 1998 the first gas pipeline between UK and continental Europe was opened which automatically hooked British gas prices to European oil indexed prices. That was when British prices started to be influenced by marginal factors.

This is how it works. When crude oil prices raise so does natural gas prices for continental Europe and consequently the UK, because of pipeline connections to Europe. Since UK gas prices aren’t completely hooked up to European oil indexed gas prices, gas in the UK becomes cheaper than in continental Europe and European gas traders end up buying gas from the UK. That is when the demand in increased and UK gas suppliers put their prices up to stop the flow to continental Europe and to contain the price surge in the UK gas market.

One factor that recently started to play an important role in the British gas and energy market was LNG imports. Liquefied Natural Gas imports brought a global component to business and commercial gas prices. Predictions are that in a few years time the UK will be importing as much as 50% of its total gas supply needs from LNG which will make UK gas prices compete with American and Asian markets.

The biggest issue with LNG imports is where to store it. Britain is lacking LNG import terminals but the issue is being addressed with two new large terminals under construction in Wales and the expansion of the Isle of Grain should increase UK’s LNG storage capacity considerably.

Commercial and business gas prices continue to be influenced by weather and demand but as afore mentioned not as much as it use to. Proof to that is what happened the past winter, when temperatures were way below seasonal average pushing gas for heating consumption to extremely high levels and instead of going up wholesale gas prices dropped.

As if energy brokers didn’t have enough to worry about, two new factors are concerning energy brokers across the land. It first started with the turmoil in Egypt that extended to Libya which made crude oil prices surge over the $120 US Dollar mark, causing a rally in the UK gas market. As a consequence UK gas prices climbed to its highest levels in more than 21 months.

The second factor that is taking away the sleep of UK energy brokers is the earthquake and tsunami that devastated part of the eastern coast of Japan. You may ask why? The answer is simple, Japan is the biggest LNG importer and a reduction in its nuclear energy generation increases the likelihood of LNG tankers being diverted from the UK to Japan, as the second biggest Japanese energy generation resource is gas power plants.

As you can see the UK Energy and Gas Market are more complex than what many people think. Now imagine you having to watch all those factors in order to find the cheapest business gas and business energy prices for you company. You wouldn’t have time to focus on what really matters for your business. That is why when it comes down to finding the best deals in gas or energy it’s best to leave it to the professionals: Energy Brokers.

Source: Never Have So Many Factors Influenced UK Gas Prices

People say that during a crisis new opportunities arise; while some loose it all others find an opening to increment their profits. Sometimes that happens unexpectedly which was the case of the shop fittings industry. The UK is slowly moving out of one of its worst economic recessions and high street shop owners are rethinking their sales strategy with a special focus on shop fittings and displays.

Shop owners learnt that their shop displays and fittings should be easy on the eye, attract the prospect attention without shading the product and above all be reasonably priced. Finding this balance is essential to any high street store seeking to stand above the crowd.

A silly mistake that is often made by new shop owners is to invest big in state-of-the-art shop fittings and displays forgetting that their main use is to display their products in a way that catches prospects attention inciting to buy. Easy rule of thumb here don’t go for posh displays, put yourself in the shoes of your customers and think what would incite you to shop in a store similar to yours.

Shop fitting is a science of its own; it goes way beyond shelves and gondola isles. Shop fitting involves displaying products in a way that attract more costumers to enter your shop and help them find what they are looking for at the glance of an eye. Hence the importances of seeking professional help from a shop fitter or shop interior designer.

Professional shop fitters not only know how to put together shelves, displays, slatwalls, they also know where to put them in order to attract more attention. Speaking of attention did you know the colour of your shop fittings might influence your prospects?

Studies revealed that certain colours incite costumers to take certain actions. For instance red and yellow incite hunger and you thought that McDonald’s picked those colours because they looked nice. You will also want the colours of you displays to blend with your products.

So before choosing your shop fittings arrange a meeting with your shop fitter to discuss these matters. Show him or her your products and explain a little about your trade and your prospects behaviour. Based on all that shop fitters can come up with an unique shop layout that will attract more costumers and increase sales.

To sum things up, in order for the trade high street shop owners to catch prospects attention, drive them into their shops and incite them to purchase they must first get their shop layout right.

MMA or Mixed Martial Arts grew enormously in popularity during the past 10 years. Due to this popularity the sport has developed and there has been a development of a separate set of regulations, safety measures and further leading refereeing. Years ago there were minimal rules, no equipment for safety and no appropriate coaching as sportsman arrived from various martial arts styles to test which was the most capable martial art around.

Much has altered following the early Mma or mixed martial arts days, early adopters you may recall Royce Gracie struggling in UFC 1, 2 and 3 wearing his BJJ GI’s, he did very well and was victorious three times, bear in mind that at the time there were no gloves or weight restrictions. It would be suicidal to fight nowadays in the UFC in BJJ GI!.

Fortunately, the modern sport has introduced rules and safety considerations.. The most brutal techniques were banned and the use of appropriate equipment like fingerless mma gloves, groin guards as well as gum shields is now essential.

Training for MMA has also changed and in my opinion is now its own martial art, with many Dojos and Gyms throught the globe now offering specific MMA preparation. Such training includes the 5 foundation techniques of Mixed martial arts: striking, takedowns, sprawling, floor work, and submission holds.

MMA Coaching

To enroll in MMA exercise you’re not required to have a recognition of achievement in any martial art, you can start at the beginning and acquire each one of the fundamentals as coaching progresses. Participants who have a recognition of achievement in for example brazilian jiu jitsu will sure have an advantage over beginners.

MMA is amongst the most accomplished and challenging sports at this moment so be ready in body or mind for laborious exercise sessions and a lot of sacrifice to be a success. MMA warriors aren’t considered the utmost battling machines without reason.

The Beginning

Choice of your training ground is the initial and key start point.

investigate, look at many gyms, and take your time.. i suggest you train at a few gyms for a while before making a decision.
Several will state go with the the best tams, perhaps joining the elite is the best solution, but not everyone has the privilege to do so, make the most of what is available..

Gear for Training

MMA does not require stacks and stacks of gear, but some are necessary. I refer to this gear as the starters pack.. Anybody wanting to begin MMA needs a groinguard, a gum shield, a pair of MMA training gloves(no need to go pro just yet) and a pair of proper MMA shorts.

Training ground chosen and basic MMA equipment in hand it is time to see if you have what it takes to become an MMA fighter. The fighter’s psyche fundamentals are:

1. The Ability to Work through Pain
2. The Desire to Reach the Top
3. High Motivation Levels
4. Persistence

My final tip is “Keep focused and never give in”.

“For many the ground is the limit for us is just the beginning”

Eventually you are seventeen years old and you have reached the age you can start taking driving instruction to own that long waited drivers licence. Provisional licence in your purse it is the period to look for a driving coach too, but who to choose? A close relative, a female or male driving teacher?

In this article I’m going to cut the relative bit as it is subject to a complete new feature but it also fits in the main matter of this feature. Who’s better at training people how to drive male or female driving instructors?

20 years ago I wouldn’t even have been content to start such a discussion as the great majority of instructors were men. Nowadays women have conquered space in the industry and we can choose between male and female driving instructors.

Even so, many are averse in hiring women as their driver coach. These people still think that men are better drivers than females. But i am not here to speak about who has best driving knowledge and I’m here to speak about who is better at educating others how to drive.

Women tend to be more tolerant than men and at the same time more strict. They will teach you everything you are required to know about driving with completeness but don’t you dare to try and cut any corners with them.

With the male driver teachers besides learning all the ins and outs of driving they will also teach you a trick or two such as parking skills and speeding. Not saying that women don’t know how to park a car but I must state males do that much better than women.

Everyone learns in a varied way, some may prefer a male driver teacher others may opt for a female driving coach. Above all you and your tutor must work out an individual lesson scheme. This scheme should be created to give you the very best chance of passing your test and will help adapt you into a safe and assured driver.

Based on your driving experience the instructor will have to choose how many lessons you will require in total before taking your driving examination. In general after ten to 15 hour classes you should be prepared to take the exam but if you feel that you require more lessons do no be reluctant to ask your teacher.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter if you prefer a male or female driving instructor your aim is to learn how to drive. Choose the one you think you will feel more contented with and last but not least good luck.
